put together a great video of some of our SoCal Surf Dogs in action.
He might want to consider changing the title to:
"Oh Baby, you roll like a pig"

Camera angle #1 by Craig Haverstick: Camera angle #2 by Dale Porter: Camera angle #3 by 'Nanicam': We met Mr Tyson and his Owner Urbin Gonzalez at the Pet Expo in Del Mar last year.
We told him if he ever comes to San Diego again, let's take Mr Tyson surfing. He called! On Saturday, April 7th, 2012 we went surfing....... She works as an assistive aid to surfers with disabilities through Puppy Prodigies as a SURFice dog (tm). Among them have been wounded warriors, active duty military, and veterans. Ricochet uses her surfing skills to counter-balance the board, and adjusts her surfing style to each disability. In addition, her soft hearted nature coupled with her intuitiveness fosters trust through an instant, far reaching bond helping the warriors heal. She's been involved with a number of military based organizations, including the Balboa Naval Medical Center. When not in the water, she does goal directed therapy with the Balboa Rehab Program through Pawsitive Teams, working with active duty wounded warriors affected by PTSD, combat stress, traumatic brain injuries, amputations and other forms of medical trauma. Ricochet has extensive training and experience since she was trained as a service dog. She's also a certified goal directed therapy dog, and a registered therapy dog. In addition to working with wounded warriors, Ricochet helps special needs children, and people with disabilities both in, and out of the water. This is yet another example of what the SoCal Surf Dogs do when they are not surfing to raise monies and awareness for various causes. Ricochet sets the bar high for all of us to give back in our individual ways, as well as a group! Yes, SoCal Surf Dog Dozer does it again.
Dozer won First Place in the Puppy Luv 5k Run/Walk costume Contest on Sunday, February 12th, 2012. The event raised funds for the Helen Woodward Animal Center in Rancho Santa Fe, California. Owner's Gigi and Doug show us Dozer's "Looking for Love" award winning costume! |
